These events are made for enterprises, institutions and agencies that already use GI-Systems or spatial data infrastructures or rather are planing to realize this kind of infrastructures.

The seminary portfolio aims at experts and decision makers that are planning or already setting up a modern SDI using interoperable systems for a most efficient achievement of their objectives. From the elementary introduction of SDIs and related topics to specific aspects about security or OGC-standards and their details could be covered depending on the members' interests and needs.

Within workshop lasting one or two days, you can learn about the capacity of open standards in spatial data infrastructures. Experience, how you can realize a SDI on the basis of 'Free Software' to see how you invest into your solutions and know-how - and not into licenses.

This training enables the members to install and configure the deegree Web Services and Clients for their needs and applications. Integrating existing products like ESRI ArcSDE or UMN Mapserver will be covered as well as other ways of data integration.

Start your new project supported by experienced deegree developers on-side! For three to five days, a developer will assist you at the project analysis, concepts for integrating deegree, the application of OGC Web Services or - on request - at the integration of other free software products.
