deegree iGeoPortal - Presenting Geospatial Data in the WWW: Flexibel and on the basis of OGC-Standards.
deegree iGeoPortal is the web-client framework based on modules within the deegree project. deegree iGeoPortal empowers you to setup portals for geospatial data with all kinds of complexity.
The basic version contains a WMS-Client configured by a OGC Web Map Context Document (WMC). Furthermore, it is possible to access OGC Web Services: Web Feature Service (WFS), Web Coverage Service (WCS), Catalogue (CS-W) and Gazetteer Service (WFS-G) and even 3D representations supported by a Web Terrain Service (WTS) -- for more details to the deegree-based Geo Web Service >>.
deegree iGeoPortal is extendable on request. So far, the following modules exist:
- map: Map representations on the basis of OGC Web Map Services (WMS). Users have the possibility to add their own map layers as well as saving and loading them via OGC Web Map Context Standard.
- gazetteer: Supporting spatial research on spatial identifiers like streets, house number or administrational districts.
- security: while integrating deegree iGeoSecurity, just authorised users get access to your interoperable Spatial Web Services.
- download: Feature for downloading selected spatial data as GML or shapefile.
- catalogue: Search for service and data metadata based on a catalogue service
Every deegree iGeoPortal module can be used in any combination.
